1. I picked this image because it is kind of iconic and I think it's just a fun one because of it's story.
2. This picture was taken by the photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt on they day when WWII finally ended. The photographer captured a moment when a sailor randomly grabbed a nurse and kissed her in celebration.
3. Additionally, I learned that Victor Jorgensen had a picture that was very similar to this one. there are only a few subtle differences, but his photo is much less well-known.

A Man on the Moon

    1. Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyI picked this image because I really like it and it shows a great time in history.
    2. The paragraph was talking about Adrian the man who took the photo he was the second man on the moon he photo is of Neil Armstrong.
    3. The link showed me other photos taken while on the moon I learned that neal armstrong also took some photographs.

    Lunch Atop a Skyscraper

    1. I picked this photo because it is something you don't see everyday and definitely look time period specific.
    2. The men pictured were 840 feet above ground. This was them on a lunch break, while working on constructing the RCA building, on the 69th floor. 
    3. Something else I learned about this image is the photo may have been a part of a promotion for the new Rockefeller skyscraper, meaning that the photo was staged.

    Dorothea Lange: 1895-1965

    Migrant Mother

    1. This image caught my eye because it tells a story about how worried the mother is.
    2. This picture widely humanized the Great Depression. The photographer, Dorothea Lange, captured it at a spur of the moment stop, where she found a mother and her children who were all struggling greatly at this point in time.
    3. Lange told authorities about the bad situations she saw, which got food sent to those places.

    1. What caught my eye was a man hitting a girl
    2.The guy has been abusing the girl for sometime now but this time the photographer took pictures of it so she could expose. She soon wrote her own book with domestic violence involved.
    3. This photo turned into something bigger and congress passed the Violence Against Women Act
