Video 1:

Her lips were plumped, her neck was elevated, hair made bigger, shoulders made smaller, eyes lower, eyes smaller, and face made slimmer.

Video 2:

Her skin was evened, nose smaller, eyes made bigger, shoulder raised, stomach flattened, legs made long, skin tone lightened

Video 3:

The pizza was made into a woman just by altering colors and shapes, moving around pepperoni, and and adding simple elements. This shows how powerful photoshop will be.

1. Is it ethically acceptable to change a person's appearance like these in a photo? Why or why not?I think it is not because you are totally changing how the person looks to fit the ideal look, and that can make many people insecure about themselves. It also is misguiding the viewer of the advertisement or product into thinking that it will make them look like that, but in reality it doesn't even make the model look that way.

2. Are there circumstances in which it would be more ethically wrong to do this type of manipulation?I think it would be most ethically wrong if there us a very noticeable difference between the original and the manipulated picture.

3. What types of changes are OK, and what aren't?I think it's okay to change a little thing, but if the photo manipulation is drastically different than the original then I think its not okay. Also if the picture can be seen as deceiving for the viewer.

4. Explain what you think the differences are between fashion photography and photojournalism.
I think the difference between fashion photography and photojournalism is that the fashion industry will alter their images to get the end product they want, and photojournalism photographers will kind of alter theirselves, by position or location, to get the end result they want.

5. What relationship does each type of photography have to reality, and how does this affect the ethical practice of each?
Typically, and from what I saw today, fashion photography is non realistic to normal standards, but photojournalism mostly is. I think this makes all the altering on the models unethical. However, photojournalism photography can be unethical if they photoshop too much also.

6. Why do you think I am showing you these three videos?
To show us what can be done with photo manipulation and how the picture should try to remain more natural to capture the person in our portrait pictures.

7. Why are none of these videos about guys???
There aren't any guys in these videos because they aren't held to the same beauty standards as women.
