Sports Portfolio
a. Josh Birnbaum
b. The general focus was sports.
c. The judges noted that there was not a clear subject, there was an unnecessary background person, and the faces of the subjects were distracting to the picture.
d. The judges liked the humor presented in some of the photos and they liked detail.
e. I didn't really like the photographers pictures. I feel like some of them were very random and some of them didn't have anything to do with sports.

b. The general focus were stories.
c. The judges noted that the picture could've been sharper and in focus, some of them could've portrayed the story better, and putting the pictures in a specific order.
d. The judges liked the mood being portrayed in some of the pictures and they liked the black and white.
e. I liked this photographer because I thought the black and white made the pictures really dramatic. I thought all of the pictures were clear also.

c. The judges noted that some of the pictures didn't tell a story, some were not in great focus, and others had too many things going on.
d. The judged liked detail shown in about two of the pictures and that's pretty much it.
e. I thought that some of the these pictures were good but they skipped most of the pictures because they were not impressed.

c. The judges noted that some of the pictures didn't portray the story that was supposed to be told, some of the pictures were just fine, and then they said "next" to most of the stories.
d. The judges liked how some of the pictures looked like they were taken with a professional camera and some of them were humorous.
e. I thought that the photographer's pictures were just okay because some had too much going on and some weren't in focus.
a. Some strengths that the judges noticed were that the photographer got nice angles on some of the pictures. The judges also liked how some of the pictures looked really cool. The biggest thing that the judges liked was that the photographer was really into the event to make it look like he were in it.
b. I think that all of the photos were in really good focus and portrayed some cool angles. The only weakness I saw was that like two of the pictures had too many people.
a. The judges first looked at the layout of all of the portfolios that they narrowed down to. They took out the portfolios that the didn't like to slim down their options. They then slowly narrowed it down to only two portfolios. They looked at all of the photos closely to make sure they were all good photos. Once they did this they both talked about which portfolio they liked best and then both agreed.
1. I agreed with the judges on this picture of a girl celebrating at a soccer field. They liked the photo and wanted to keep it and I agreed that it was a good photo.
2. I disagreed with the judges because they liked a picture of a wrestler on an escalator but I didn't really like the picture because I feel like it didn't tell a story or give much information because it was so random.
